“Valentin Boiangiu is, without exaggeration, the most significant mentor in my life. He instilled in me a love for contemporary art and provided the essential contextual and practical foundation that every aspiring artist needs. His approach not only helped me understand how everything works but also allowed me to preserve my own identity as an artist. Even after completing my studies, he remained the only person I turned to for advice and I still do to this day. If you have the opportunity to learn from him, I am truly happy for you-You are on the right path.”

Val was always a very encouraging tutor, who allowed me to push myself and experiment with new ideas. Working with him opened up new ways of working, that I might not have thought of otherwise. He definitely identified my strengths and gave me the confidence to pursue my art practice.
